About the Project

Shtigen engaged Datanet to build a local area network and install a video surveillance system at its facility. The main objective of the project was to create a reliable IT infrastructure that ensures stable corporate network operations and effective security monitoring of both the premises and surrounding areas.

At the initial stage, Datanet specialists conducted a detailed audit of the facility, including office spaces, production areas, and warehouses. The existing network infrastructure, bandwidth, workstation layout, and potential bottlenecks were assessed. For the video surveillance system, camera angles, lighting conditions, and optimal installation points were carefully considered to achieve full coverage without blind spots.

Based on this analysis, a project was developed for the local network, including optimal cable routing, selection of switches, server equipment, and access points. Simultaneously, a layout for camera placement and data storage servers was designed to enable centralized monitoring and video archive management.

Once the project was approved, the Datanet team began installing the equipment. Cable lines were laid, network devices and access points were installed, and IP cameras were deployed. All system components were integrated into a unified infrastructure with proper configuration for management and security.

The final stage included testing the network and cameras, verifying data transfer speeds, video quality, and proper alert functionality. Shtigen personnel received training on operating the equipment and monitoring the system.

As a result, Shtigen now benefits from a modern, reliable, and scalable local area network with an integrated video surveillance system, ensuring efficient operations and a high level of facility security.
